Hello, I'm Joanne Oppelt
I help nonprofit executive directors and other fundraising leaders build sustainable fundraising systems that produce high returns on investment in terms of both mission and money. I've authored or co-authored more than twenty books and trained thousands of fundraisers.
Having spent more than thirty years in the nonprofit arena, I specialize in helping executive directors improve their fundraising ROI and realize continuous net surpluses. Integrating fundraising with strategic planning, marketing, operations, and financial management, I teach nonprofit professionals how to build up their revenue streams and create sustainable funding structures.
I have worked in both small and large nonprofits in a variety of fields including the arts, child welfare, disabilities, early childhood education, maternal and child health, mental health, public health, and at-risk youth. My extensive background in a variety of work roles enables me to understand the challenges nonprofits face–both internally and externally.
